Academy Anesthesia is a single-physician practice built around the work itself: showing up prepared, communicating clearly with surgeons and facility staff, and caring for each patient individually.
The model is simple. Good anesthesia is perioperative medicine — a physician accountable for the whole patient from before the case begins through to a safe recovery, not just the hours in the operating room. I provide that care directly, under both independent 1099 contracts and multi-state locum coverage, and work to set the surgeon, the facility, and the patient's own physicians up for a good outcome.
Beyond clinical coverage, I build software — including max-local.app, a point-of-care maximum-dose reference for local anesthetics, and findsquad.app, a tool for coordinating organized search efforts. Both are available online and in app stores.
